Kids' Fitness Day

Here we are exercising and learning about nutrition this year at Kids' Fitness Day.  Had a great day.  We came back and drew pictures of our favorite station, and then the next day we signed thank you notes to be mailed with the pictures to the sponsor.

This week finds us participating in homecoming...although we're in a different town and so the pressure isn't that great.  We do have to make a banner to be used at the pep rally on Friday.

Have a great week.  Oh yea...and then next week we have conferences Thursday night and Friday morning.

New Playground

We sent this thank you note to the parent volunteers who helped put our playground equipment together...the kids are loving it!

This year will see my school involved in
1.  new teacher & principal evaluation which is adapted from Marzano
2.  new reading series...Reading Street 2013 common core...even though my state, Nebraska, is not a cc state
3.  less para help due to insurance concerns and budget cuts
4.  teaching in a new building ALL year long--big shout-out--YEA!
